The PTCIA will be publishing information to assist those involved with running Paper Tiger Catamaran events, including State, National and International Championships. This will cover such things as:

• Name of the event.
• Choosing a venue.
• Sponsorship.
• Entrants.
• Transportation of overseas entrants' boats.
• Looking after the visiting sailors (especially those from other countries).
• Measuring requirements, equipment and processes.
• Functions - both required and optional.
• The sailing:
  • Course setting
  • Race format, number, scoring
  • Race management
• Prizes and trophies.
• Event shirts.
• ISAF documents that are helpful in event organisation and running.

This guide will be aimed at assisting the organisers to ensure that certain levels of consistency are adhered to, but will also provide assistance and suggestions around optional items. It will be designed to save people from having to "re-invent the wheel".
